Often, the videos or reviews are done by much younger women who don't really have direct experience with mature skin.
So, I decided to personally test different foundation products on my mature skin and share my favorites with you.
Estée Lauder Double Wear
The Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation is a classic that I have been using for many years, and I still consider it one of the best on the market.
It is ideal for those looking for even coverage without highlighting discolorations or imperfections.
Although the Light version is no longer available, I continue to use the classic formula because it is impeccable and has exceptional staying power.
Additionally, Estée Lauder Double Wear is perfect for those who want a foundation that doesn't transfer onto clothes or stain the skin, especially if you have combination or oily skin.

L'Oreal True Match
The L'Oreal True Match foundation is one of the best in the L'Oreal range for mature skin. It reminds me of higher-end products like the NARS foundation.
L'Oreal True Match has a slightly more watery consistency and applies better with a flat brush. It is buildable, so you can start with a light layer and increase the intensity where needed.
The range of colors is wide and allows you to find the perfect shade for your skin.
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is another product that has won me over. It has a slightly creamier consistency and is ideal for normal and dry skin.
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation doesn't weigh down the skin and doesn't accentuate wrinkles throughout the day. It remains soft for many hours and is perfect for those who want a luminous and natural look.
Maybelline Super Stay Active Wear 30 Hours
The Maybelline Super Stay Active Wear promises 30 hours of wear on the face. Although I haven't tested it for that long, I can confirm that it lives up to its promises for a normal day, including a dinner out.
It has a slightly denser consistency compared to the other mentioned foundations, so it also applies well with a damp sponge. It is suitable for normal, combination, and possibly even dry skin.
YSL All Hours Foundation
A new product that I wanted to try is the YSL All Hours Foundation, also recommended by the famous makeup artist Andreea Ali.
YSL All Hours Foundation offers a luminous effect but has a luminous-matte finish, perfect for those seeking brightness while having combination or slightly oily skin.
Personally, I find that it meets these characteristics, as it is luminous without giving an unwanted shiny effect.
It has a texture that is between liquid and creamy, and I would apply it with a brush to achieve an even result.

NARS Pure Radiant Skin Tinted Moisturizer
Continuing with my selection of foundations for mature skin, before showing you my absolute winner, I want to introduce an alternative product that I consider perfect for summer, for traveling, or for those who want a natural finish with some skin uniformity and, above all, sun protection.
It is the NARS Pure Radiant Skin Tinted Moisturizer, which I often use during summer vacations.
The NARS Pure Radiant Skin Tinted Moisturizer has an SPF 30 sun protection factor which, I can guarantee, will also protect you at the beach.
If you desire even greater protection, you can apply a product with SPF 50 underneath the tinted moisturizer to add more color and an extra layer of protection.
I chose the shade Mykonos, which is medium-light with a neutral undertone, and it perfectly matches my complexion. This product has an extremely soft texture, and if you wish, you can also use it alone without foundation.
However, if you need more coverage for a special evening, you can layer it slightly to achieve a result similar to a good foundation.
The NARS Pure Radiant Skin Tinted Moisturizer is truly a versatile product suitable for many occasions.
NARS Light Reflecting Foundation
Finally, my absolute favorite, NARS Light Reflecting Foundation, is the foundation that has won me over for its ability to reflect light well and provide enchanting radiance without ever making the skin oily.
It has medium coverage, perhaps even medium-light, but I can assure you that it is really good for the skin.
When you remove it in the evening, you will truly notice beautiful skin underneath. I love it and recommend it to everyone, unless you have serious oiliness issues.
The texture of the NARS Light Reflecting Foundation is suitable for both dry and normal to combination skin, as it offers that touch of radiance without exaggerating or turning into a greasy film, even as the hours pass.
I always keep myself updated on the products available on the market, and often, I am the one who chooses which ones I want to test, trying to share only the best of what I have discovered.
