Summer Outfits: Black and White, and a Bamboo Bag

Today is Sunday and I’m wearing, as the look of the day, this summer outfit in black and white. I combined my simple white Mango jeans with a very fresh and airy top, and a straw bag, a trendy piece of this summer season.

It may seem strange, but even after so many years of working on my wardrobe, every now and then I still have a few small moments of crisis, especially when it comes to summer outfits. In the sense that there is always something new to perfect in our wardrobe, some aspect to focus on, something new to add. Above all, we also evolve over time, and with us also our style, so that we have to rediscover it continuously over time!

And so I realized that I did not have enough to create the summer outfits that I would have liked, but above all I did not have the right things for the hottest months of the year in my closet.

My wardrobe, in fact, was divided into two parts: on the one hand, some “serious” things for work; on the other hand, my wardrobe capsule for beach holidays, made of pieces mostly not wearable in the city. For more relaxed looks, suitable for high temperatures, I had almost nothing to wear!

So I decided that it was right and proper to do some shopping, focusing on a) summer dresses e and b) generally fresh and airy clothes, but also suitable for the city.

But no one is perfect, and among the targeted and well thought purchases there was also my third pair of espadrilles, but no one is perfect, after all … 😉
