Summer Outfit: Jeans and a Cute Top

Today was a really full day, with many work, blog and social engagements, so I opted for a comfortable look, combining my favorite summer skinny jeans and a cute top. The jeans are made of very lightweight denim and are perfect for summer days. I combined my outfit with sandals and one of my favorite handbags in light beige / nude shades.

Recently, on my more and more active Facebook group, full of really smart, competent and stylish women (thanks for being there!), I asked for advice for a “blogger look”, since I had to introduce myself to a new sponsor of my blog.

Funny thing, I know, because even I don’t really know what it’s really like to “dress as a blogger”. So instinctively, I think of outfits that are a bit absurd and over the top, definitely not in line with my personal tastes. Instead, some of these beautiful ladies gave me the wisest advice (the same one my mother gave me at 13 years before the school dance, by the way 😀 ): be yourself, dress as always and do not distort yourself!

And so I did, deciding at the very last minute what to wear. I have to say that I feel very much at ease in this outfit that simply combines a pair of lightweight skinny jeans and a cute top! And, as is right when the look really suits our own personality, when I was busy with all my appointments I completely forgot what I was wearing, focusing on all the new and exciting things that the day had to offer me!
