Summer has officially begun! And, hence, the need to create summer office outfits, suitable for those who are still in town and working. Like me and like many of you, in short, from what you wrote me in response to the latest newsletters.
So, since I don’t really feel ready for summer yet, I thought I’d start by creating summer office outfits that were simple variations of things that make me feel comfortable in other seasons of the year.
Like, for example, this summer office outfit consisting of cream-colored “4 seasons” trousers (a truly brilliant fabric that you can wear all year round!), combined with a black silk top by Helmut Lang.
I added a pair of turquoise earrings for a summery touch, my black bag with fringes a bit “rock” that I have had for many years, and sandals instead of the usual pumps or ankle boots.
Speaking of black bags: I tend to use them much less in summer, in favor of the whole range of beige, sand, leather, and taupe. What about you?
