In these days of overwork to finish several project before finally leaving for the holidays, I’m trying not to self-pity too much. But, above all, I try to obstinately ignore the social networks, with their roundup of photos of crystal clear seas, shady beaches & other beautiful places. My reality, these days, is a bit different. It is made up of many work commitments, some beauty rituals that are absolutely necessary before the holidays (hairdresser, mani/pedi), and various commitments that lead me to alternate super air-conditioned rooms with freezing temperatures to the African heat outside. That’s why it’s important for me to always have a blazer with me, to be slipped on quickly when I go from the tropical and humid heat to the arctic cold of some interiors. Therefore, what you see in these photos is one of my favorite summer office outfits.
It is formal enough for the commitments that require it, but also easy to adapt to more casual situations and to the hot sun by simply pulling off the blazer. Despite of the heat, I’m wearing suede pumps here, because strangely I like suede especially in summer and with a slight tan! Although, I admit, I’m almost always wearing sandals, even at the office.
WHAT I’M WEARING FOR THIS SUMMER OFFICE LOOK:
Blazer, Zara, can’t find it any more on the website
Jeans, Mango, old, similar HERE and HERE
Beige pumps, yoox, old, similar HERE
Handbag, Prada Double (review HERE), you can buy it HERE
T-shirt, ASOS DESIGN, HERE

A blazer is useful even in the middle of summer, to solve the problem of air-conditioned rooms… I prefer it in light colors, they keep you cool under the sun!
