The sun is finally shining today in Lugano and the temperatures have risen a lot. In short, spring seems to have finally arrived in town and I’m in the mood for warm weather outfits! Today is also the last day of the work week, and since I’m also alone at the office I opted for a decidedly casual Friday outfit that is quite sporty but still appropriated for work thanks to this black blazer, combined with definitely more casual pieces like a graphic t-shirt and jeans.
SOMETIMES IT’S USEFUL TO BUY THE SAME GARMENT IN MULTIPLE COLORS, LIKE THIS BLACK BLAZER …
I also chose much lighter materials, like this simple cotton T-shirt as an under-jacket for this long black blazer from Zara that I purchased last year. I bought this same blazer in two colors, since I find that the soft and slightly elongated shape is really very comfortable especially for work, but it’s also very nice if worn over summer dresses or low-cut tops in high summer.
I own the same jacket also in the white version, and every summer I use it a lot, over simple summer dresses, but also paired with skinny jeans and sandals for a nice evening look or a simple outfit for happy hour.
I think the shape of this blazer makes it particularly suitable to wear over simple tops, summer dresses or V-neck blouses. To give the look a special touch, today I opted for this old Prada bag with fringes and a white sequined T-shirt with a graphic element. The silver statement earrings also add some sparkle.
A simple black blazer…
Given the beautiful blue sky, at lunchtime I went for a nice walk through the streets of my town, Lugano. I work in the city center, so the best spots are all quite close to my office.
I took a look at the shop windows, like the ones of the luxury boutique Tiziana Fausti (look at these cute Miu Miu bags!), and I had lunch in one of my favorite restaurants, Convivio.
In this picture you can see one of my favorite spots in Lugano: the beautiful view of Lake Lugano from the square in front of the LAC Museum and Theatre.
