In the winter (but maybe I should say all year round) I love to wear neutral colors, even the darker ones like black, burgundy and some shades of grey. Colors that in fact many people consider a little sad, maybe. Therefore, I usually tend to combine them with light and contrasting shades like white, winter white, taupe or some sort of beige or camel.
In this case, though, I wanted to wear something a little edgy. So I chose to pair black with burgundy and grey, playing with different materials and textures: faux leather jeans in burgundy and a fringed black handbag, but also a pair of big, showy earrings that reflect the light very well and add some sparkle to this otherwise dark outfit.
