Every now and then I make one of those purchases that are immediately feel like a great choice right from the dressing room. And then, month after month, they quickly turn into one of those wardrobe pillars I use every time I have no idea what to put on.
For me, it is essential to have this kind of wardrobe staples in my closet: those garments and accessories that are almost always a great choice, that make me feel comfortable and at ease and reasonably cover several different occasions, both for daytime and night.
Last September I found this black floral dress by Liu Jo that already proved itself to be one of these “jokers” in my wardrobe. When I tried it on, I quickly realized that it was a great addiction to my existing wardrobe: with it’s good quality and excellent cut, it is also nice enough to be worn for a night out or a dinner in a fashionable place, but also sufficiently easy to accessorize. With the right shoes, it can be worn also in the free time and even for the office with a medium or low heel.
And while I don’t particularly love floral prints, in this case the pattern seemed sufficiently contemporary for my tastes and my wardrobe.
