In the last few months I’ve started some small chromatic experimentation in my wardrobe. I also talked about it in a video that I made during the drafting of the new Style Workbook, since the entire course is aimed at making the most of the content of our cabinets to create immediately many new outfits. And this, of course, is also my goal… So, why not experiment immediately, studying how to wear orange, pairing this bright color shade with some neutral garments and accessories of my usual summer wardrobe?
This summer, also thanks to the fact that Living Coral was declared by Pantone color of the summer, I wanted to try to match shades such as coral, but also bright orange with the neutral shades that I often use in summer. In the shops, however, I have not seen much of this color, or the garments were not to my liking or, sometimes, the shades of orange to match the rest of my wardrobe did not suit me or did not convince me.
For me, in fact, it’s important that every new color that I integrate into my wardrobe fits in a little with what I already have. In the case of orange, I particularly like to pair it with white or, even more so, with beige, sand and, in winter, also with camel.
So, dissatisfied with what I saw in the stores, I decided to search online and I found, at only 14 euros, this blouse made of 100% viscose, also available in many other colors. I ordered it and I have to say that I liked it very much both as a material and as a fit and finish, so much so that I plan to buy it in other colors!
For example, I am tempted by the beautiful denim blue, but also the two green shades are definitely interesting!
