Floral Blouse and Skinny Jeans for a Summer Outfit

 

These days I’m having fun “rotating” the contents of my summer wardrobe while there are still these beautiful temperatures and using garments that I love, but I had not yet used almost this year, like this off shoulder floral blouse.

 

 

To help me use more of what I have, instead of letting myself be tempted by the latest summer purchases (which would inevitably disappoint me, because they were made only out of boredom), I enjoy doing some of the many stylistic challenges proposed in my Practical Style Course (in Italian only). In fact, my floral top deserved at least one more use before the summer ends!

 

 

 

While I don’t really like patterns (except geometric patterns and other rare exceptions), I have to admit that a floral off shoulder top or a blouse with a floral print can liven up many summer outfits and are not at all difficult to match.

When I use patterns, I prefer them to be the real protagonists of my outfits and I tend to combine them with solid colors, preferably neutral shades, able to enhance the print.

 

 

So, I matched my floral blouse with a pair of simple white skinny jeans and beige-nude accessories. I also like the choice of a simple pair of skinny jeans because it contrasts well with the large, almost shapeless volumes of the blouse.

And to define the upper part of my body a bit more, I also wear my Gucci Soho crossbody bag, now probably in its millionth use during this summer!
