Best Shoe Trends 2024 To Wear Now

The shoe trends 2024are here – and most of them are not only beautyful, but also very easy to wear!

Some of these have been imported from previous seasons, while other designs are really new or, at the very least, reappearing after disappearing for a few years to enrich our over-40 outfits for 2024.

Here you see some of the hottest shoe trends 2024 at a glance:

1. PLATFORM LOAFERS AND SANDALS

A first trend that will go big this year involves platform sandals and loafers.

This trend is actually not entirely new. We had already observed it in previous seasons, where it had not really caught on, however, except in a few ultra-trendy clubs in big cities.

This year, however, loafers and winter sandals (a tiny bit more closed and in warm materials like velvet and suede), which can also be worn with a nice thick sock, are making a big comeback.

In any case, if you like this trend, you will find really beautiful ones in stores this year.

From patent leather platform heeled loafers to suede or lacquered winter sandals, we will really see a lot of them!

Have fun with this trend, because paired with a minimal or classic look platform loafers or sandals will make it instantly look trendy.

2. Over The Knee Boots

A second pattern that will go a lot this year and that I find very practical are over the knee boots.

This model, in my opinion, is the subject of considerable prejudice. In the imagination of many women, in fact, it immediately triggers the idea of an overly sexy footwear, which has to be necessarily matched with a very short skirt.

But this is not, by far, the only outfit combination you can make; on the contrary. Perhaps it is precisely the only one to be handled with care and moderation!

This trend certainly looks best on those with fairly slender legs, but it does not necessarily require dizzying height. In fact, many women around 5'6″ have proportionately long and tapered legs anyway.

Personally, I own this great pair, purchased a few years ago, which I always wear with pleasure.

Above all, I pair it with midi and maxi skirts and dresses, with which overknees create modern and gritty outfits.

3. Slim wedge pumps and ankle boots

A third year shoe trend concerns pumps, but also ankle boots with slim wedges. I don't like this trend very much, I must confess. But it is definitely a fairly new style that we have seen everywhere this year.

So if you like the style and are looking for something fresh and innovative, why not?

4. Pumps of all kinds

The easiest shoe trend for 2024 for many of us – who doesn't have at least one pair in their closet? – concerns the classic pumps.

They really will be everywhere this year!

Clearly this is a classic model that is unlikely to go completely out of fashion.

This year, the most current designs will be slingbacks, open at the heel, at least as long as the season allows.

I own a Chanel-inspired, two-tone pair that I wear often these days.

But minimal, smooth pumps with a distinctive heel will also go very well, as will highly decorated pumps.

Otherwise, we will still see a lot of minimal designs, like these that I really recommend to everyone.

I often say this in my style classes and workbooks as well: having at least one pair of nude pumps in the closet, which pick up the color of our skin as well, helps a lot to add inches to our legs and look great with so many different outfits.

But this year, pumps decorated with chain elements, pins, studs, etc. will also be very popular.

I have had the classic gold-studded Valentino Rockstud pumps for several years now, which tie in well with so many things.

Here you can find them in Valentino's original version, expensive but also a good investment.

Instead, here you will find a very convenient and affordable alternative.

5. Shoe Trends 2024 :Tobacco colored shoes

Another 2024 shoe trend will be shoes tobacco colored shoes in any style.

This year, this color will be very present especially in accessories, but also in clothing and shoes.

It is a neutral and very versatile shade that goes well with so many things.

6. Biker Boots and Chelsea Boots

Another consistently strong trend involves chelsea and biker boots.

I bought no less than two models last year, and this model in particular from Doc Martens really made a splash. It is so comfortable!

But this year they are also going strong in light colors such as cream, beige, tobacco and precisely camel. I miss the light version and have put these on my wishlist.

7. Rubber boots

One last trend that will be going strong this year and is this fairly new (or at least back after a few years of silence) concerns classic rubber boots.

So, if you already have a pair of Hunters in your closet get them out!

Or look around for new models that are sure to have some innovative and distinctive elements.

This is also a comfortable footwear, especially if there is bad weather. They keep our feet warm and dry.

I don't have anything like that so I'm definitely going to look around at them because I also find they make a nice leg.
